The bachelor course Controlling will be primarily taught in-person with complementary content provided digitally (asynchronous).
The Accounting Center Münster (ACM) invites all new students of this year's Master cohort in Business Administration majoring in Accounting to get to know the Institutes and Chairs of the ACM. During the event, the ACM will provide a general overview of the track, major-minor combination possibilities and the specific teaching and research areas within the ACM. The event will take place in lecture hall JUR 4 on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 4p.m.. Detailed information with regard to the schedule will be made available shortly before the event.
We are pleased to present our Institute’s latest publication “Exploiting Data from Field Experiments” which will be published in the Handbook of Market Research and which is now available online. In their article, Prof. Martin Artz and Hannes Doering are providing a comprehensive overview of methods to analyze data generated from field experiments and describe the relevance, challenges and solutions to identifying causal effects from real-world data.
Unfortunately, we have to postpone the interview and selection day for the John Molson Case Competition 2022. We regret this decision, yet after long and intense discussion we decided to do so because, in our view, the current field of applications did not portray the necessary diversity with regard to field of study, expertise, skills and gender. In our experience, this would have resulted in a team whose chances of success in the case competition would have been limited from the get-go.
The registration for our Institute's Master Seminar in Management Accounting & Control for the upcoming Winter Term 2021 is now open. This year's seminar deals with a broad range of management accounting topics with regard to challenges of "new work" models and firms challenges and answers to a quickly changing societal and economical landscape.
