A few days ago, our PhD stduents Hannes Doering and Simon Schoelzel had the great honor and pleasure to present their joint research project on measuring transformational change and its economic consequences at the 45th annual congress of the EAA - European Accounting Association in Helsinki. In the subsequent paper discussion and Q&A session, our colleagues received valuable feedback and food for thought on the project from the discussant and audience. In between the many interesting and intense paper presentations and networking events, there was of course a little bit of spare time to stroll through beautiful Helsinki!

We congratulate Hannes on the superb presentation of the paper and the both of you on your contribution to an important and current research stream. After a short break this week, the two will present their work again at the EURAM 2023 conference in Dublin next week. Good luck and safe travels!
