Bachelor-Onboarding Part 2: Exploring Henkel's Controlling Practices with Dr. Dieter Kahling

Continuing the bachelor onboarding guest lecture series by our institute, this time we were happy to welcome Dr. Dieter Kahling, Corporate Vice President Group Controlling at Henkel. 

Exactly five weeks after Martin Artz introduced the students to the importance of controlling in evaluating business models, Dieter Kahling complemented the picture by giving our students insights into the controlling practice at Henkel.

"Paths Abroad" Fair by the Faculty of Economics

This year, just like every year, the "Paths Abroad" fair, organized by the Faculty of Economics, will take place again. Students can find information here about partner universities, applications, financing, credit transfer of exams, as well as application, organization, and financing of internships abroad. The fair will be attended by the Career Development Center, Career Service, AIESEC, Weitblick, credit transfer coordinators, Homecomings, and Incomings.

MAC Winter Semester Opening with Student Assistants

For the semester kickoff, we had our traditional semester opening with our student assistants, which took place on the bowling alley this semester. In a relaxed atmosphere, the student assistants had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and with the academic staff on both academic topics and various other subjects while showcasing their bowling skills.

Congratulations to Florian Droese, who set a lane record with an impressive 163 pins! But that was certainly not the only highlight of an evening that revealed some hidden talents in bowling!

Study Day at LVM Insurance in Münster

On the past Tuesday, bachelor and master students from the University of Münster had the opportunity to participate in a study day at LVM Insurance in Münster as part of the course Insurance Management. During the study day, they had the chance to get to know the company, connect with employees, and engage in discussions about topics such as thesis projects, internships, and career entry.
