PhD seminar with friends at MAC in Münster

From Monday to Wednesday, our institute hosted our annual joint PhD seminar with the accounting chairs of Martin Nienhaus from FINACC - Chair of Financial Accounting - Ruhr-University Bochum, Sara Bormann, Katharina Hombach, and Anna Rohlfing-Bastian from the Goethe-University Frankfurt, and Christoph J. Sextroh from the Carl von Ossietzky-University Oldenburg.

Since the very first seminar 4 years ago in Oldenburg, we are very happy and grateful to see that this format has grown into a consistent, friendly, brown-bag style event with both high-quality presentations and feedback from PhD students and senior faculty.

A special feature of our joint seminar is that the setting and location change every year, making each year's event special and different. This year, it was our turn to host the seminar and welcome our friends to the University of Münster and the LBS Landesbausparkasse NordWest throughout the three days. In addition to the presentation of initial research ideas, research proposals, and fully developed working papers by the PhD students, there was plenty of time to explore the city of Münster, enjoy great food and drinks, and participate in off-site activities where everyone could digest the impressions of the day together.

We thank everyone for coming to Münster and look forward to next year's seminar!
