Recently, our ChanCe team participated in the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting 2026 in Philadelphia, the world's premier gathering of management scholars. Bringing together thousands of researchers from around the world, the conference provided a unique platform to present research, exchange ideas, and discuss the future of management and organizations.
How employees perceive organizational change is rarely static. As change unfolds, employees continuously reassess whether it benefits their work, and these changing perceptions shape how they engage with the process.
Earlier this week, members of ChanCe participated in the Symposium on New Work and Work Transformation at the University of Groningen. The symposium provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on current developments shaping the future of work.
Recently, Beatrice Schult participated in the GSERM Global School in Empirical Research Methods at the University of St. Gallen, an international doctoral program focused on advanced research methods.
As part of the program, Bea attended the course “Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA)” taught by Peer Fiss. The course focused on configurational approaches that explore how multiple pathways can lead to similar outcomes and provide a different perspective on complex organizational phenomena.

As part of the Paper Development Workshop in Bern, which brought together selected PhD researchers working on human–AI collaboration in organizational contexts, ChanCe researcher Letizia Tschetsche presented her ongoing research on generative AI (GenAI) in knowledge work.
Focusing on reputation-sensitive, cross-functional settings such as corporate communication, where teams take on quality assurance roles for corporate communication, her work examines how generative AI is embedded in everyday workflows and how it reconfigures professional roles and interactions.
