ToW went AoM 2024
The Chair for Transformation of Work (ToW) was once again represented at this year's Academy of Management (AOM) Conference, which took place in Chicago in 2024. In the midst of the impressive skyline, the conference offered, as usual, a great environment to exchange ideas with scientists from all over the world!
We were also delighted to see so many familiar faces from Münster and the surrounding area which gave us the opportunity to further strengthen not only international but also local research projects and revitalize the scientific community! The ToW-Team presented various research projects. Amongst others,
- Prof.Dr. Julia Backmann with her Colleagues Stefan Razinskas & Praveen Parbotheeah: The Overnight Stress Carryover in Leaders: A Conservation of Resources Perspective“
- Dr. Felix Hoch & Jonas Rudinske: Discriminating Institutions as Trade Barriers for Gender-Diverse International Firms“, das sich mit den Herausforderungen geschlechterdiverser internationaler Unternehmen auseinandersetzte.
- Dr. Matthias Sinnemann with his colleagues, Laura Marie Edinger-Schons, Janick Edinger, Elka Thevanesan, Matthias Weiss & Likoebe Maruping „Distant, yet Connected: Exploring Centrifugal & Centripetal Forces in Team Creative Problem-Solving“
- Beatrice Schuldt: „At Home, On the Train, Or at the Beach: How Does Mobile Work Affect Employees’ Environments?“
Overall, the conference offered many special impressions and we are looking forward to the next Academy of Management Conference in Copenhagen in 2025. The knowledge and contacts gained there will certainly make another significant contribution to our research!
