This research domain aims to explore digital technologies including their specific opportunities and risks, as well as their strategic implications on organizations and the whole society. Thereby, we focus on current trends and developments.

The core of our research lays on the implications, emerging digital technologies and innovations might have for single organizations and entire industries. Specific challenges differ across industries and firms, but even across departments within a company.

We particularly focus on financial services and automotive companies, which both face tremendous challenges regarding the influences of Big Data Analytics and autonomous / connected driving.
