What is the overarching purpose of a business plan and which components are vital to incorporate in such? And how do you consecutively put a value on aforementioned business plan?
This two-step question was at the core of last week's seminar on Business Plan Analysis and Valuation held by PwC Germany. For two days, our participants worked on a fictional case from determining what constitutes the ongoing business to financially valuing the firm after considering risk and ESG factors.

Together with co-authors from Switzerland and the USA, Prof. Artz has recently published a new research article "The effect of target transparency on managers' target setting decisions" in the journal "Accounting, Organizations and Society". "Accounting, Organizations and Society" is one of the six best journals in our field worldwide.
In the summer semester of 2024, the Institute for Management Accounting & Control is offering a practical seminar on the topic of Excel.
The module will take place full-day over two days in April (25.04, 26.04).

Im Sommersemester 2024 bietet das Institut für Controlling & Unternehmenssteuerung in Zusammenarbeit mit der IVV Wirtschaftswissenschaften eine Schlüsselqualifikation zum Thema „Datenkompetenz“ („Data Literacy“) an.
Das Modul wird ganztägig an fünf Freitagen im Zeitraum April bis Juni stattfinden (12.04, 19.04, 03.05, 10.05, 07.06.2024).
