The kick-off meeting “Theses at MAC” provides an overview of the entire process of completing a thesis at MAC. All key steps are presented, including registration with the institute and the examination office, topic selection, important resources, as well as the submission process and subsequent steps. In addition, participants have the opportunity to clarify general questions directly and in person. The aim of the meeting is to create transparency regarding the overall procedure and to address typical questions at an early stage in a centralized manner.

Attendance is mandatory for Bachelor’s students and optional for Master’s students, provided they intend to begin their final thesis during the respective allocation period. The meeting takes place via Zoom approximately six weeks before the start of each distribution period. Access details can be found in the Learnweb course.
