On June 3, the annual WiWi Cup returns – the Faculty of Economics’ internal soccer tournament with a tradition spanning more than 30 years. For one day, lectures pause as the focus shifts from the lecture halls to the football pitch.

Up to 24 teams from departments and student initiatives compete in an exciting tournament format. Following the group stage, the top teams advance to the knockout rounds, where they battle for the coveted title.

The day concludes with a celebration and award ceremony at the Oeconomicum. Bringing together students, faculty, and initiatives, the WiWi Cup combines sporting competition with a strong sense of community and creates a lively atmosphere both on and off the pitch every year.
