Post-exam review Strategic Management Accounting (Winter 2019/2020)

Dear students,

On Thursday, 03.09.2020, you may review your answers and the grading for the exams of the course Strategic Management Accounting (Winter 2019/2020).

For organizational and hygiene reasons, a registration is required. To register, send an e-mail to silvan.kindinger@wiwi.uni-muenster.de stating your name, your matriculation number and the semester in which you wrote your (last) exam (WiSe 2019/20 or SoSe 2020) by 25.08.2020, 11:59 pm.

PWC online event: Thank Accounting, it's Friday (apply until July 5)

On July 17, 2020, PWC hosts its online event „Thank Accounting, it’s Friday!“. In this event, students have the opportunity to improve their skills in interactive sessions with experts of PWC in a variety of topics. The list of potential topics to be chosen includes The Future of Auditing, Sustainability, Digital Upskilling and Master your Application. The event will be held in German.

Eligible for participation are all business students who have successfully completed the first year of bachelor studies.

Seminar at MAC – Improve your presentation skills

Story boarding, story building, story telling – how (creating) a presentation starts, develops and finishes. In the summer semester 2020, MAC master seminar participants got to know these important concepts during a presentation skills workshop with Deloitte. In an online conference, twenty students had the chance to learn and receive helpful advice directly from experienced consultants. In addition, they got some valuable insights into Deloitte as a company and everyday consulting work.

Introduction to academic writing

On 07.07.2020 from 9:00 to 13:00 (via Zoom), the Chair of Management Accounting & Control will offer a course about academic writing. It is adressed to bachelor students and will teach the basics of academic writing in the field of Business Administration. We will provide information on literature, structure, process of writing, correct citation etc. The objective is to prepare students for their bachelor thesis and to facilitate its beginning.
