Course Description

We have summarized all important information about writing a thesis at our institute in a Learnweb course. The course also includes a video that introduces the fundamentals of academic work at our institute. It covers, among other topics, literature research, evaluating the quality of sources, structuring academic work, the writing process, and correct citation methods. These topics are illustrated through various examples and practical tasks.

In addition, the course includes a discussion forum where students can ask questions. The aim of the course is to prepare students for their thesis and support them in making a successful start.

For bachelor’s students, there is also a mandatory kick-off meeting in which more detailed information about the thesis process is provided. This meeting usually takes place approximately 4–6 weeks before the intended start quarter. It offers another opportunity to ask questions about the process.
