Whether at one of our numerous partner universities or as a freemover, the Accounting Center Münster offers every student the opportunity to spend a semester abroad. For this purpose, we offer a mobility window in the third semester of the master programme, but a semester abroad is also possible in any other semester depending on the desired course of study.
The International Relations Center (IRC) of the School of Business and Economics and the International Office of the University of Münster provide advice on application, planning and funding if required.
Credit transfer at the Accounting Center Münster
The transfer of credits earned abroad is flexible, fast and uncomplicated – regardless of whether the semester abroad is completed at one of our partner universities or as a freemover. To ensure planning security, the credit transfer process always begins with a preliminary review of the coursework planned abroad.
In addition to the possibility of having individual credits transferred, the Accounting Center Münster also offers a special program: the integrated semester abroad. With the integrated semester abroad, students can have a complete semester with 24 to 30 ECTS credits transferred as a coherent package. The prerequisite for an integrated semester abroad is that at least 50% of the course content abroad is related to accounting topics. In addition, modules can be freely selected and their credits transferred. The integrated semester abroad thus offers the opportunity to complete a semester abroad at a foreign university that only offers a limited curriculum in the field of accounting.
