Two weeks ago, the traditional AlumniUM WiWi-Cup took place once again. In a premier move, the Institut für Unternehmensrechnung und -besteuerung, Institut für Rechnungslegung und Wirtschaftsprüfung, and MAC joined forces to form the Accounting Center Münster team.

After emerging victorious in the group stage, we marched through the K.O. stages to reach the final in which the team only narrowly lost.
Despite the disappointment of just missing the first-place winner, the great closing event in the courtyard of the university with a public viewing of the first Germany game of the European Championship did not fail to cheer everyone up again!

We want to thank our fellow team members and supporters from the IUB, IWR, and our own institute for the successful tournament and AlumniUM e.V. for the excellent organization of this year’s WiWi-Cup. We look forward to next year with a clear goal in mind: the gold medal and the cup!
