University of Münster Wins 42nd John Molson MBA Case Competition in Canada

We're proud to announce that the team of the University of Münster, coached by our institute, excelled at the 42nd John Molson MBA International Case Competition, bringing home the prestigious Concordia Cup. This case competition is the biggest and one of the most esteemed in the world. Following last year's success, where our team remained undefeated and won their division, this marks our second win in three years.

Congratulations to our team members: Karim Mohamed (majoring in Accounting), Greta Wulf, Franziska Brax (both majoring in Marketing), and Robin Killewald (majoring in Information Systems). Formed in mid-October, the team underwent focused training leading up to the competition. Their excellent performance secured a division win during a challenging group stage, leading to success in the semi-final and ultimately securing first place in the final round.

Our alternate team member Jan Peter Ehrling (majoring in Accounting) competed on the Global Team, replacing a school that was unfortunately unable to attend the competition. Bringing in three wins as a newly formed team one day before the competition was impressive and was honored accordingly with the Team Spirit Award.

A sincere thank you to the organizing committee at Concordia University, sponsors, volunteers, participating schools, and MBA students. Your collective efforts make this competition one of the most esteemed in the world. Special appreciation to Marcel Vandieken and his team at SMP Strategy Consulting for their ongoing support and coaching of the German teams.

We already look forward to returning next year to defend our title at the 43rd John Molson MBA Case Competition.
