On June 15^th, after a two-year COVID-break, the faculty football cup finally took place again with lots of sun and warm temperatures.

Our diverse team, which – in addition to the student assistants and staff of our Institute– again included colleagues from the Institute of Accounting and Taxation as well as the Berens research team, remained undefeated in the group stage. Only due to the goal differential we found ourselves in 2^nd place. In the following round of 16, the team was a little bit unlucky and eliminated after penalty shootouts.

At the subsequent evening event, however, the elimination was quickly forgotten, and we are motivated to attack again next year! We would like to thank the organizers for the great organization of the event and OMMAX - Digital Solutions for the great jerseys, which will certainly accompany us in the next tournaments!
