Registrations open for Workshop & Spring School "Ethics of AI (Un-)Explainability"

The Center for Nonlinear Science and the Zentrum für Wissenschaftstheorie are organizing a Workshop & Spring School on "Ethics of AI (un-)Explainability" on 19 and 20.03.2024, which is open for registration.

The workshop builds a bridge between philosophical-conceptual questions and concrete applications.
Details on the program and registration can be found at  https://www.uni-muenster.de/CeNoS/InterKIWWU/veranstaltungen/EoAIuE/index.html

No prior philosophical or technical knowledge is required to participate! The necessary tools for the workshop can be acquired as required in the preceding Spring School. The event is therefore also a low-threshold offer for students from a wide range of disciplines.

The SpringSchool will also include a colloquium lecture by Prof. Gitta Kutyniok (LMU, Munich) on "A Mathematical Perspective on Legal Requirements of the EU AI Act: From the Right to Explain to Neuromorphic Computing". This will take place on 19.3. at 16.00 s.t. It is aimed at the university-internal public and, unlike the rest of the program, does not require registration.
