Dr. Florian Degen wins Teaching Award in the Bachelor of Business Administration

Dr. Florian Degen, external lecturer at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, has been awarded the Teaching Award of the Student Council of the School of Business and Economics for the summer semester 2025. He received the award in the Bachelor of Business Administration program for his highly rated seminar “Leadership in Technology-Related Organizations.”

In his seminar, Dr. Degen teaches practical soft skills for future leaders in technology-driven companies. The seminar combines theoretical foundations with real-world examples from the Fraunhofer Research Facility for Battery Cell Production (FFB) and interactive group discussions. A particular highlight is the excursion to the FFB, where participants gain direct insights into current processes of battery cell manufacturing.

With this award, the Student Council aims to recognize instructors who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and teaching quality. TThe award ceremony took place on June 27, 2025, during the graduation event of the Bachelor’s program.

We warmly congratulate Dr. Degen on receiving this award and thank all students for their valuable feedback. The key qualification will be offered again in the winter semester 2025/26; registration will likely open in September 2025 via the ENT website  Link
