Dr. Florian Degen nominated for Teaching Award by the Student Council
The Student Council of the School of Business and Economics has nominated Dr. Florian Degen, external lecturer at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, for the Teaching Award of the Summer Semester 2025. The nomination is based on the outstanding evaluation results of his seminar held as part of the key qualification “Leadership in Technology-Related Organizations”.
In his course, Dr. Degen teaches practical soft skills for future leaders in technology-driven companies. The seminar combines theoretical foundations with real-world examples from the Fraunhofer Research Facility for Battery Cell Production (FFB) and interactive group discussions. A particular highlight is the excursion to the FFB, where participants gain direct insights into current processes of battery cell manufacturing.
With this award, the Student Council aims to recognize instructors who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and teaching quality. The Bachelor teaching awards will be presented on June 27, 2025, during the Bachelor graduation ceremony.
We warmly congratulate Dr. Degen on his nomination and thank all students for their valuable feedback. The key qualification will be offered again in the winter semester 2025/26; registration will likely open in September 2025 via the ENT website Link
