Ceremonial PhD graduation ceremony for Lena Stein-Warburg

Last Tuesday, Lena Marie Stein-Warburg successfully defended her cumulative doctoral dissertation titled “Seal the Deal: How Similarity and Linguistic Signals Shape Investor Decisions in Entrepreneurial Pitches.” One day later, we had the pleasure of celebrating this important milestone together during the official PhD ceremony at the university.

With her successful defense, Lena becomes the fifth doctoral graduate of our institute, a milestone we are particularly proud of. As is tradition at our institute, Lena was presented with the ceremonial academic gown and her personalized handmade doctoral hat, decorated with anecdotes and memories from her time as a doctoral researcher at the MAC.

Throughout her doctoral journey, Lena made invaluable contributions to our institute. Not only through her research and teaching support, but also through her major involvement in the AACSB accreditation process. We are very grateful for her dedication, commitment, and the many ways in which she contributed to the development of our institute over the past years

Dear Lena, thank you for everything you have done for the MAC. We wish you all the very best for your future path and are excited to see where your journey will lead you next!
