In our bachelor course “Controlling”, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Marcel Leez, Head of Integrated Bank Management at LBS Landesbausparkasse NordWest, for a guest lecture this Wednesday.

Dr. Leez provided our students with practical insights into corporate management in a credit institution, focusing in particular on the planning process and the calculation and steering logic of a bank in an interactive session. By linking these topics to the concepts discussed in the course, he supported our students in better understanding how controlling supports decision-making in financial institutions.
