Last week we had the pleasure to welcome a new guest lecturer in our “From Data to Insights” course, Tobias Kawohl from BASF!

Tobias brought a use case from his work experience as Lead Global Digital Controlling, where a dashboard was implemented to support the preparation of the management report. He showed our students how the combined use of Python for data analysis and generative AI for data interpretation supports in the detection and interpretation of reasons for deviations in business unit results. Tobias also discussed some of BASF’s current and future projects involving the use of copilots and large language model agents.
