As a diversified international biotech company, QIAGEN faces a variety of challenges when it comes to analyzing profitability. Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Joachim Esser, Florian Hampe, and Christian Fangmeyer from QIAGEN in our Controlling lecture. They introduced our Bachelor students to this important topic.

During the guest talk, questions such as "How should costs be allocated?" and "Which customers or regions are particularly important for us?" were asked and answered. Our guest speakers did a fantastic job of combining the lecture with insights and examples from practice based on their extensive personal experience. They also linked the topic to what our students had learned throughout the semester.

We would like to say a special thank you to our three guests. We certainly enjoyed the lecture and would be honored to welcome them back to our institute soon! Finally, we wish our students good luck with their exams!
