Is performance management in the Army different from that in commercial companies?

This was the key question that Colonel Marc Verwer of the 1st German/Netherlands Corps addressed during his guest talk yesterday as part of our Performance Management and Strategy Execution course in the business administration master program. In the light of the current developments, he led a lively discussion on how a European army with many different stakeholders executes its strategy and measures and manages its performance.
