How can top-executive compensation help shape and change a company’s culture? And how exactly can top-executive compensation bring a corporate strategy to life?

These questions were discussed in the guest lecture by Pia Lünstroth of hkp/// group in our master’s course “Performance Measurement & Strategy Execution” last week. During her 90-minute interactive talk, Pia illustrated how Delivery Hero has changed its compensation practice in response to changes in the business strategy throughout the different stages the company has gone through – from a growth-oriented start-up, to its IPO and MDAX listing, to its goal of reaching profitability.
During the session, our guest from hkp not only shared her professional experience in designing effective compensation contracts, but also provided perspectives into the daily work of a compensation consultant.
