Last Tuesday, Prof. Dr. Dieter Truxius, former dean of the University of Mannheim Business School, visited our chair for a guest lecture. In his talk concerning "Business Performance Measurement and Management: Best Practice Today and in the Near Future" Prof. Truxius presented theoretical concepts coupled with valuable practical experience from his years working in different firms. Using numerous examples, he guided the students through important KPI systems and presented new concepts, for example, for the integration of human and natural capital into management control systems. We would like to thank Prof. Truxius for visiting University of Münster and sharing his insights from various years of practical experience.
