Earlier this week, members of ChanCe participated in the Symposium on New Work and Work Transformation at the University of Groningen. The symposium provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on current developments shaping the future of work.

🤝 The event brought together doctoral researchers and faculty from the University of Groningen, Vienna University of Economics and Business, University of Oldenburg, and the University of Münster. Practitioners also joined the discussions, enriching the exchange with practical insights. Combining academic and practical perspectives, the symposium created a valuable setting for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.

🎤 Representing ChanCe, Prof. Dr. Julia Backmann and her doctoral researchers Beatrice Schuldt, Letizia Tschetsche, Johannes Hüby, and Simona Töpfer presented their ongoing research on flexible working practices, team collaboration, modern work arrangements, and generative AI in creativity. Through presentations and discussions, participants exchanged ideas, received valuable feedback, and reflected on broader developments shaping work, organizations, and employees.

🚤 Beyond the academic programme, participants also explored Groningen during a boat tour before continuing the conversations over dinner, creating further opportunities for networking and exchange.
