Prof. Dr. Julia Backmann is Chair and Professor for Transformation of Work and Co-Director of the Center for Business Transformation at the University of Münster. Before joining the University of Münster, she was Assistant Professor at University College Dublin and LMU Munich. In her research, which has already won several international awards, Julia focuses on the effects of social and technological change on (co-)work, leadership and innovation. Dr. Felix Hoch is Assistant Professor at the University of Münster, where he also completed his doctorate and previously completed his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law and his Master's degree in Public Policy. In addition to the project on the 4-day week, his research focuses on the interplay of various dimensions of change in the world of work, such as diversity, virtual teams, innovation and internationalization, with a particular focus on the institutional context. Dr. Matthias Sinnemann completed his doctorate at the Ruhr University Bochum. Afterwards he took up the position of Assistant Professor at the Chair of Transformation Work In addition to research stays at the University of Windsor (CA), he studied at the ISCTE Business School in Lisbon and the VSE University of Economics in Prague. In addition to the 4-day week, his current research focuses in particular on creativity and innovation in teams through virtual collaboration. Beatrice Schuldt, M.Sc. has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Transformation of the Working World since February 2023. She previously completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Management and Information Systems at the University of Münster. In addition to research, Ms. Schuldt has practical experience primarily in the areas of IT consulting, project management and strategy consulting. In her research, she focuses on the effects of mobile working on the private and professional aspects of employees. This includes, for example, changes in collaboration, work-life balance and mental health, as well as employee performance and results.

Johannes Hüby, M. Sc. has been a doctoral student at the University of Münster since April 2023. He previously completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Master's degree in Management at the University of Münster. In addition to his doctorate, he worked for an international management consultancy. In addition to the 4-day week, his research focuses in particular on the topics of employer attractiveness and work-life balance.

Letizia Tschetsche, M. Sc. has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the ToW since November 2024. Previously, she completed a master's degree in psychology with a focus on human performance in socio-technical systems at the TU Dresden. In addition to her studies, she gained experience in research on the transformation of work as well as in practice in personnel and corporate development. In addition to investigating recovery processes within and outside the work context, her main areas of interest included research into the influence of digital change on work activities. Student assistants
Laura Lünstroth, B.Sc., has been working as a student assistant at the Chair for the Transformation of the World of Work since September 2024. She is completing her Master's degree with a focus on management and accounting at the University of Münster, where she already completed her Bachelor's degree in business administration. She also spent one semester of her studies at Masaryk University in Brno. Talea Stolte, B.Sc. has been supporting the four-day week project team since June. After completing her bachelor's degree in psychology, she transferred to the University of Münster and has since been studying for a master's degree in personnel and business psychology. What interests her most about the 4-day week is the effect of the reduction in working hours on the compatibility of care and paid work. Patrizia Frysch, B.Sc., has been a student assistant at the chair since February 2024 and is also studying for a Master's degree in Management and Information Systems at the University of Münster, where she previously completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. During her studies, she gained experience in technology consulting and data analytics through internships. She supports the research project on employer attractiveness in technological change and ongoing tasks of the chair. Anna Langner, B. Sc. Student assistant Jan Ole Krieg, B. Sc. has been a student assistant at the Chair of Transformation of the Working World since February 2023. He is completing his Master's degree with a focus on Management and Information Systems at the University of Münster, where he also previously completed his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Since January 2024, he has been supporting the project team of the four-day week, supervising the MAP talent development program and assisting with ongoing tasks of the chair. Johanna Marie Kemper B. Sc., has been working as a student assistant at the Chair for the Transformation of the World of Work since July 2024. After completing her Bachelor's degree in International Business Studies in Paderborn, she moved to the University of Münster and is now completing her Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Information Systems. She is in charge of the MAP talent development program for management students. -
