Shahnawaz Mian, student of the Finance Center Münster, is one of the five winners of the Sparkasse Vest Recklinghausen Science Promotion Award, which was awarded in August 2021. He received the award for his master's thesis, which he wrote on "An empirical analysis of the determinants of interest rate adjustment behavior by credit institutions" under the supervision of Professor Dr. Andreas Pfingsten at the Chair of Banking. Dr. Michael Schulte (left), Chairman of the Board of the Sparkasse, and Project Manager Dirk van Buer congratulated him warmly. The prize is 750 euros for the winner and 500 euros for the supervising chair. The Finance Center is pleased that Shahnawaz Mian was able to convince the jury with his thesis.
