The exam inspection for the Chair of Sustainable Finance for the Summer Semester 2023 will take place on the 12th of October 2023, in F3, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The inspection covers the exams “Foundations of Sustainable Finance, Socially Responsible Investing, Advanced Sustainable Finance and Introduction to Advanced Finance".
This year, for the 26th time, Sparkasse Vest Recklinghausen offered awards for outstanding scientific work. Philipp Derwall, a former master's student from Münster, is one of the five winners who were honored by CEO Dr. Michael Schulte and his project manager Dirk van Buer at the ceremony on August 11, 2023 at the Sparkasse headquarters on Herzogwall.
The inspection of the exams "Financial Intermediation I", "Financial Intermediation II" and "Rating and Capital Market" of the Chair of Banking for the summer term 2023 will take place on October 12th, 2023 between 09:00 am and 11:00 am.
This year's summer seminar trip took 30 FCM students, faculty members and professors to the picturesque island of Krk. For six days, the participants enjoyed the best Croatian weather and took part in exciting seminar lectures in addition to the diverse leisure program. The students were able to demonstrate their skills in the defense of their seminar papers as well as in the subsequent discussions. The topics covered a broad spectrum of finance: from machine learning to wisdom of crowds to corporate takeovers, everything was represented.

Online registration at FCM for seminars in the winter semester 2023/2024 is now open. Please register there until 27.08.2023. On July 5th, the students of the Finest in Finance program had the opportunity to participate in a workshop with Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (DBMC) on-site at the premises of the University of Münster. The workshop on "Structured Problem Solving: Struggling M&A Business" was organized by Jonathan Manthei, an alumni of the FiF program and graduate of the Finance Masters at WWU, and Christian Samulowitz, a graduate of the University of Münster.
