This year's summer seminar trip took 30 FCM students, faculty members and professors to the picturesque island of Krk. For six days, the participants enjoyed the best Croatian weather and took part in exciting seminar lectures in addition to the diverse leisure program. The students were able to demonstrate their skills in the defense of their seminar papers as well as in the subsequent discussions. The topics covered a broad spectrum of finance: from machine learning to wisdom of crowds to corporate takeovers, everything was represented. In addition to successfully completing the seminar, a double-digit number of participants also successfully completed a diving course, allowing them to explore the Adriatic Sea in greater detail. In addition, the island's wide range of leisure activities was used intensively: whether water skiing, ziplining or hiking, our participants cut a fine figure everywhere. The days spent together were rounded off with home-cooked 3-course meals, rounds of games and cold drinks with a sea view.
