After the trip to Düsseldorf a few weeks ago, the second Finest in Finance company event of the winter semester 23/24 took place right on our doorstep in Münster's Technology Park on November 09^th, 2023. Following the internal semester kick-off and the welcoming of the new members, the group set off together by bike to the Capcora office. There, the members of the program had the opportunity to get to know Capcora - an M&A and Financial Advisory Boutique. During an exciting case study on the acquisition and sale of a solar portfolio, the students were able to gain insights into an exemplary project of the company. At the beginning, the students were divided into two groups for the buy and sell side, which were then allowed to plan, present and discuss their offers. The students were able to put their mathematical and analytical skills to the test while gaining new insights into the renewable energy market. At the end, the Capcora team answered remaining questions and were engaged in valuable conversations with the students in a relaxed atmosphere.
