On October 31, 2023, Bloomberg hosted a workshop in Düsseldorf for members of the "Finest in Finance" program. The workshop, focused on "How to predict upcoming recession cycles," provided students with valuable insights into handling the Bloomberg Terminal and analyzing economic data. Participants traveled together by train from Münster to Düsseldorf, sharing experiences and enjoying generous catering. They worked independently on the Bloomberg Terminal to understand the relationships between factors such as oil prices and yield spreads, enabling them to predict economic downturns. After the workshop, participants had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and establish connections. Thanks to Bloomberg, the event offered students a unique chance to enhance their skills in financial analysis and gain practical experience.
