Award for Excellence in Teaching: Dr. Colin Schulz Receives Teaching Prize in the Master’s Program in Business Administration
Dr. Colin Schulz has been awarded the Teaching Prize by the student body (Fachschaft) for his course Technology and Innovation Strategy in the Master’s program in Business Administration. The award honors instructors who demonstrate outstanding didactic quality, academic depth, and a high level of commitment to teaching. He was supported in delivering the course by Moritz Sickert, research associate at the Institute. The award ceremony took place on June 27, 2025, during the official graduation event of the Master’s program.
Dr. Schulz is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Münster. In his course, he addresses strategic issues at the intersection of technology and innovation management. The course provides a holistic perspective on the innovation process within multinational companies. It covers strategic considerations, behavioral aspects, the influence of organizational culture, and leadership approaches in the context of technological change. A particular focus is placed on companies operating in dynamic and uncertain environments. Current trends in innovation management and guest lectures from industry further enrich the course and offer students a strong link to real-world practice.
