You have the option of having the skills you acquired abroad recognised for your studies atthe University of Münster. However, the procedure differs from the recognition procedure for transfer students. You submit the form for recognition of your achievements to the examination office after your stay abroad. However, the examination of the content takes place before the stay abroad. Detailed information on the procedure can be found on the information page of the Dean's Office.

After your return, please submit the form for recognition to the Examination Office :

• legibly and completely filled out form for recognition (you can find the form in the download area)
• original Transcript of Records or one that can be verified as original (can be verified by Laila Fischer from IRC)
• Confirmation of recognition issued by the responsible recognition officer prior to the stay abroad (paper form or e-mail)

Please note that the date of recognition will correspond to the date of receipt of the application.

Provided that all documents are complete, the processing time is up to 4 weeks. We kindly ask you to refrain from enquiries within the 4 weeks.
