Thesis Uploader

Final theses at the School of Business and Economics must be submitted completely digitally by the 01.03.2023 deadline, provided that the topic was picked up after 01.03.2023. The submission of bound copies is no longer required.

The School of Business and Economics provides an application, the Thesis Uploader, for the submission:

The Thesis Uploader is mandatory to use for submitting all theses to the School of Business and Economics.

 

  • Quick Guide

    1. Connect via the VPN client.
    2. Access the Thesis Uploader.
    3. Use your University ID and the corresponding password to log in.
    4. In the navigation area click on "Submit thesis".
    5. The first and last name are pre-filled. Add your matriculation number, the type of thesis (bachelor thesis, master thesis), enter the title of your thesis and select your examiner.
    6. After the examiner has been selected, you can now also select your supervisor.
    7. Clicking on "Continue to upload" will take you to the upload page.
    8. Review the metadata you entered at the top of the page.
    9. In the Main File section, you will need to select your actual Thesis to upload. If you have separate attachments to the work, you can additionally upload them in the Attachments section.
    10. Review all of your uploaded files.
    11. To submit irrevocably, you must still confirm that the main file contains the hand-signed affidavit and that you are aware that the submission is irrevocable.
    12. Click on the "Submit Work Irrevocably" button.
    13. Review the summary of the process in the system.
    14. Verify receipt and content of the confirmation email.

  • FAQ

    1. I can’t log in to the Thesis Uploader.
      Please check that you are using the correct login details. You must use your university ID and university password (for logging in to FlexNow, Learnweb, PerMail, etc.). Do not use your network access password.
    2. The Thesis Uploader is currently unavailable.
      Please contact technical support immediately: thesis-uploader@wiwi.uni-muenster.de.
    3. I can't access my VPN client.
      Please contact the central IT department immediately: Hotline CIT.
    4. I’ve uploaded the wrong files. What should I do now?
      You may only submit your work once. You must contact your examiner and the Examinations Office immediately to resolve the issue. A satisfactory explanation will be required, as you have explicitly consented to the assessment of the file you submitted.
