Customer-Centric Innovation

In the Fall/Winter semester 2026/27, we are once again offering you the opportunity to take the course “Customer-Centric Innovation” in collaboration with Dr. Sebastian Schäfer. The course can be credited as “Selected Chapters in Management” (Curriculum 2022: CfM10; Curriculum 2025: CfM11). It will take place daily from October 5 to October 9, 2026.

The course will introduce the theoretical foundations of customer-centric innovation (creativity techniques, design thinking, lean startup). You will then apply the skills you’ve learned and develop your own innovative solutions to problems in small groups. These solutions will be presented and discussed on the last day of the seminar (October 9, 2026).

Registration for the course opens on August 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The registration period ends on August 23, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. The course is limited to 30 participants. Spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The final grade consists of the presentation of results (40%) and a short essay (60%) on a selected topic related to customer-centered innovation development.
