Welcome to the website of the Institute for Innovation, Strategy, and Organization at School of Business and Economics of the University of Münster. Under the umbrella of the Center for Management and under the direction of Prof. Dr. Johann Nils Foege, we research and teach in the areas of technology and innovation management, strategic management, and organizational theory on current topics such as co-creation, digital innovation, digitalization, intellectual property, innovation collaboration, platforms, processes and strategies, artificial intelligence, sustainability and top management teams, research areas that reflect the dynamics and challenges of the modern business landscape.

In teaching, we strive to transfer the knowledge and expertise from our research directly into the lecture hall. We offer a variety of courses that aim to equip students not only with theoretical knowledge, but also to prepare them for real-world challenges in the business world. Our courses include lectures, practical workshops and research seminars in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Business Administration. In addition, we supervise students in their Bachelor's and Master's theses, placing particular emphasis on the combination of theoretical foundation and practical application.

In practice and transfer, we are involved in long-standing partnerships with well-known companies such as HDI, Ernsting's family and wepa. These partnerships enable us to conduct practice-oriented research and give our students valuable insights into the industry. We are also a member of the Risk and Compliance Research Center Münster and the FATM Münster, in which we promote interdisciplinary research projects that aim to combine theoretical knowledge with practical solutions.
