Economics Summer School

at Oxford University

From September 7 to 11, Felix Gehling, Stefan Menze and Constantin Schneider had the opportunity to attend the Oxford University Economics Summer School.

The programme covered a broad range of topics in economics and quantitative methods, with courses in Treatment Effects, Machine Learning, Applied Monetary Economics and International Macroeconomics. The courses offered valuable insights into current topics in economics and provided an opportunity to further develop knowledge of quantitative and empirical methods.

Beyond the academic programme, the week also offered plenty of opportunities to explore Oxford, exchange ideas with participants from different countries and experience the unique atmosphere of Oxford’s colleges.

A particular highlight was the Formal Dinner at the historic Lincoln College, providing a memorable insight into traditional Oxford college life.

Many thanks to the organizers of the Oxford University Economics Summer School for an inspiring and insightful week in Oxford!
