On May 8, the members of the Finest in Finance program visited the reputable strategy and management consultancy zeb in Münster, which holds a leading position in the European financial services industry. The event began with an interactive introduction to zeb and an explanation of practical financial models. Afterwards, the participants were able to use a presented tool independently as part of a case study.

The case study focused on the topic of AI asset valuation, in this case the valuation of real estate using artificial intelligence. The members first cleaned up a data set and then trained a deep learning model using supervised learning. The performance of the model was evaluated using test data sets in order to select the most suitable statistical model. After a short presentation of the results of the regression set up, the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas with zeb employees over lunch on the roof terrace.
