Last week, finance researchers from Hannover and Nijmegen spent two exiting days at the Finance Center Münster to discuss behavioral and experimental finance research. The meeting was organized by Judith C. Schneider, Sven Nolte, and Hannes Mohrschladt to foster the exchange of research insights, generate new research ideas, and develop a new research network in the domain of “Information Processing in Financial Markets”. Further meetings are planned to strengthen the connection between the three universities and to further enhance research in behavioral finance.

Skiseminar 2023/24 in the Pitztal

In mid-March, the traditional ski seminar of the Finance Center took place in the beautiful Pitztal in Austria. During the day, participants took to the slopes of the Pitztal Glacier, while in the evenings, the students presented their seminar papers. At the end of the seminar, there was also a lecture by our practice partner, zeb. Such trips always prove to be excellent opportunities for networking, offering an enriching experience that extends far beyond mere academic exchange.
