From September 10-11, our colleagues Christoph Domnick and Jan Harren presented their research at the 2026 International Conference in Banking and Financial Studies (ICBFS) at the University of Parma, Italy. The conference offered a great opportunity to discuss current research in banking and finance, receive valuable feedback, and exchange ideas with scholars from around the world. A particular highlight was the gala dinner at the beautiful Fondazione Magnani-Rocca, which provided a wonderful setting to continue discussions, connect with fellow researchers, and enjoy Italian cuisine. We are especially pleased to congratulate Jan Harren, whose paper “The Fed Put and Bank Risk-Taking: Evidence from the Loan Book” received the Best Paper Award in Banking and Financial Intermediation.
