On November 13, 2025, the members of the Finest in Finance program at the University of Münster had the opportunity to participate in an insightful workshop hosted by FalkenSteg, focusing on companies in distressed situations.
Throughout the event, participants explored the complexities of restructuring companies under financial pressure and examined the dynamics of distressed M&A, including a sell-side process. In addition, the workshop shed light on the role of distressed debt, illustrating how financial restructuring tools and creditor perspectives influence strategic decision-making in turnaround scenarios.
