On June 17, 2025, the members of the Finest in Finance program visited zeb consulting at their headquarters in Münster for an insightful workshop focused on bank restructuring. The event offered a hands-on perspective on real-world consulting and valuable insights into the transformation of financial institutions.
After an interactive introduction to zeb and its consulting approach, the students worked in teams on a practical case study centered around the restructuring of a mid-sized bank. The task involved analyzing the bank’s financial situation, identifying key problem areas, and developing actionable restructuring strategies. The focus was on how different services and branches of the bank performed and how the transformation toward greater profitability can be achieved.
Following the case work, the group gathered on the rooftop terrace for a relaxed evening with pizza and drinks. The informal setting provided space for further discussion, networking, and direct exchange with consultants from zeb.
