On May 14, the members of the Finest in Finance program had the opportunity to visit RSM Ebner Stolz in Cologne. The event offered participants exciting insights into the world of valuation and allowed them to apply theoretical knowledge directly in practice.

Following an introduction to RSM Ebner Stolz and a brief recap of valuation fundamentals, the group jumped straight into a hands-on case study. At the core was a real M&A case involving a company from a specialized segment of the pharmaceutical industry. From a Sell-Side perspective, participants derived a potential purchase price and analyzed strategic motivations, key investment highlights, and suitable buyer groups.

To close out the day, everyone gathered for finger food and lively conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.
