On July 12, 2024 the members of the Finest in Finance (FiF) program visited SMP Strategy Consulting in Düsseldorf, a leading company for strategic consulting in the energy and telecommunications sectors, among others. The event began with a presentation of two major projects in these sectors by a partner of the consulting firm.
The participants then took part in two interactive workshops. In the first workshop, the FiF members were divided into groups and tasked with creating action titles for consultant slides that succinctly summarized the key content of the case being discussed. The groups then refined their slides and presented them to two SMP advisors. In a feedback round, the participants received valuable tips on how to improve their work.
The event concluded with a networking session in the client's reception area, where members enjoyed drinks and finger food. This informal gathering allowed the FiF members to clarify any outstanding issues and discuss them with the SMP consultants.
