On January 18^th, 2024, members of the Finest in Finance program participated in a workshop with the European consulting firm d-fine. The event began with an insightful introduction to d-fine, highlighting its collaborative corporate culture and the company’s flexible job models.

A great portion of the workshop was dedicated to a hands-on case study, challenging participants to optimize a derivative portfolio for hedging currency risks. The students had to analyze financial strategies and apply their analytical skills, as well as theoretical knowledge, to a real-world scenario to navigate the complex task. After the final presentations, the participants had the chance to engage with the d-fine team in a casual setting, sharing insights and experiences over great food and drinks.
