On June 13th, the members of the Finest in Finance program had the opportunity to visit the new PwC office in Düsseldorf and participate in their fourth workshop concerning the topic of Financial Due Diligence.

The workshop started with a comprehensive discussion of relevant key aspects related to Financial Due Diligence such as the determination and practical implementation of required accounting adjustments. Afterwards, a case study was conducted for which the key value drivers of a company operating in the media and entertainment industry were identified and the corresponding financial statements were analyzed.

This allowed students to further enhance their knowledge about the interconnectedness of financial statements and the overarching nature of financial transactions and the due diligence process.
