On May 17th, the students of the Finest in Finance program had the privilege of participating in their third case study at Ebner Stolz in Cologne, focusing on Distressed Mergers & Acquisitions.

Divided into three distinct groups - a consulting firm, a strategic investor, and a private equity investor - the students conducted a comprehensive analysis of a distressed company in the steel industry. This unique division allowed them to thoroughly examine the challenges and opportunities from different perspectives, gaining comprehensive insights into each role's intricacies. The subsequent presentations among the groups enriched their knowledge, fostering meaningful insights into distressed M&A cases.
