Prof. Dr. Michael Rosemann is the Director of the Center for Future Enterprise (CFE) and Professor of Information Systems at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. The CFE researches and develops future-oriented organizational capabilities, such as learning, algorithmic, trustworthy, and resilient organizations. His latest book, The New Learning Economy (Routledge, 2023), outlines six innovative development pathways for the educational organizations of the future.

Internationally, Michael Rosemann is best known for his influential contributions to business process management. He is the author or editor of nine books and more than 350 peer-reviewed publications, and serves on the editorial boards of ten international journals (including MISQ Executive). He was Program Co-Chair of ICIS 2018 and will serve as Conference Co-Chair of ICIS 2026 in Lisbon. Since 2022, he has also been Vice President Strategic Partnerships of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). His research projects have been supported by leading organizations such as Accenture, Cisco, Infosys, PwC, Rio Tinto, SAP, and Woolworths; at QUT, he has established four industry-funded chairs. Beyond his academic work, he also contributes to the community as Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Southern Queensland.
