We warmly congratulate our colleague Dr. Colin Schulz on receiving the 2026 Research Award of the Universitätsgesellschaft Münster e.V. The award recognizes outstanding research achievements by early-career scholars at the University of Münster.

At our institute, Colin works on one of the central questions of our time: How do companies respond to technological and ecological change — and how can they develop future-oriented innovation and transformation strategies from these developments?

His research focuses in particular on the integration of artificial intelligence, sustainable innovation, and the role of executives and top management teams in strategic decision-making. In his work, Colin combines rigorous management theory with modern empirical methods and practical insights from established companies and start-ups.

His research has been published in leading international journals, including Information Systems Research, Journal of Business Venturing, Research Policy, and Journal of Management Studies.

We are delighted about this special recognition of his academic achievements and warmly congratulate Colin on receiving the 2026 Research Award.
